Here is my number 5 book quilt. It is made from a wreaked early 1800 book, the graphics are still wonderful. On so many of the early books I use the spines are
too damaged to keep the book as a whole, but paper at that time was made from recycled clothing, and of course the fabrics were all natural, so the pages are strong, and they are sturdy enough to sew! If you like this idea feel free to experiment and come up with an original variation, however please don't copy and please give credit. Thanks!!!!
Materials used, Old book pages, vintage doilies, handkerchief, fabric, and other ephemera,, antique belt buckle and dowel to hang.
