We have been friends since the very first school bus ride. I was in 1st grade and she was in K. There is no way of measuring what we have learned from each other over these years, she is Catholic and I am Protestant, she taught me phone manners, and I explained, um, a certain female product, we cried together over her parents divorce, my families move and all of each others breakups. This October we have been friends for 30 years, and I love and need you more than ever, Heather. You remind me of who I am, no matter where the path shifts and turns, and it's because of who you are.
